Problem
Lee Health had a legacy platform for reporting based on an outdated system. Lee Health was seeking to leverage Epic’s DW platform for both reporting performance gains and increased flexibility to meet changing user needs, with existing tooling investments in Epic.
- Pipelines were missing SLAs and were hard to troubleshoot when failures occurred.
- Reports were often pointed to slow performing transactional systems.
Solution
Seha helped activate and enhanced Epic’s DW solution, Caboodle, which was optimized for analytical reporting. We created a comprehensive plan to migrate existing reports from legacy system to Caboodle.
Trained the Lee Health team on optimization techniques and a migration framework to handle future use cases.
- Identified INI Items mapped from Chronicles to fields in Caboodle that could support our reports
- Designed extensions of Caboodle with new data elements to enable expansion of Caboodle for future population health use cases.
